This Assassin’s Creed Revelations Animus Data Fragments locations guide will show you where to find 100 in order to unlock the 5 Desmond’s Journey memories on Animus Island. While you only need 30 to get the Desmond Sequences, there are 100 Animus Data Fragments total in the Xbox 360, PS3 & PC game.
The reason you technically only need this locations guide for the first 50 Animus Data Fragments, is because after finding 50 you can buy a map from a bookstore that shows you the locations of the remaining 50 Animus Data Fragments on your in-game map.
Finding all Animus Data Fragments unlocks this Achievement / Trophy:
- “Capped (20G / Bronze) – Collect all animus data fragments.”
Even if you’re not interested in the achievement / trophy, collecting certain amounts of Animus Data Fragments – that are spread throughout the city of Constantinople and Cappadocia – unlocks the doors on Animus Island that allow Desmond to relive key moments his life.
As for the rest of the them, Nicolize mentions that the last data fragment appears and disappears at random. So you’ll have to check your map frequently to try and find it. Once you see it, lock it on your map by clicking on it, so you can make your way to it by following the in-game radar arrow that points to your just indicated target location. Sadly you don’t get anything special for collecting all Animus Data Fragments.
