SSX 2012 Preview

This SSX 2012 preview gives a quick look at what can be expected from EA Canada’s upcoming snowboarding video game.

In SSX, players take on the role of a member of a team seeking to snowboard down a variety of real-world mountains, such as in the Himalayas and the Antarctic. Original SSX veteran Elise Riggs along with Mackenzie “Mac” Fraser, Kaori Nishidake, Moby Jones, Psymon Stark, Zoe Payne, Griff Simmons, and Eddie Wachowski (pre-order bonus) are also veterans that will appear in the game.

Initially revealed under the working title ‘SSX: Deadly Descents’, the newest installment seems to be heading in a much darker direction than in previous entries, and will include the use of real locations, rather than the fictional courses of past games.

SSX 2012 is due to hit the slopes on February 14th (NA) and February 17th (EU) 2012 on the Playstation 3 and Xbox 360!
