Mario Kart 7 Steering Wheel

A Mario Kart 7 3DS Steering Wheel Accessory is in development for the game and is officially licensed by Nintendo. Although it’s only scheduled for release in Japan thus far.

The device is a steering wheel shape and allows the Nintendo 3DS system to snap into the middle of the accessory, after which you can then control your cart by turning the wheel thanks to the built-in gyro motion-controls that Mario Kart 7 makes use of for the first time (allowing you to tilt the system itself to control your racer).

This Mario Kart 7 Wheel is very similar to the Mario Kart Wii Wheel that was bundled with that game. Only this time it is for a handheld and not a console.

The Mario Kart 7 Steering Wheel will cost $16 or 1,280 yen and will hit store shelves day and date with Mario Kart 7.

Here is a new trailer of Mario Kart 7 in action.

The Mario Kart 7 release date is set for December 4th in America and December 2nd in Europe.

I really have to wonder how much money company’s make of these crappy accessories.  I must have missed my true calling in life…i could have been rich!

I know huh. I’m surprised companies still make third party accessories like this and that people still buy them…. They used to be big. But I didn’t think they still were.
