Here’s the list of this week’s game releases. Lots of popular releases this week, including: Batman: Arkham City, The Sims 3 Pets, Professor Layton and the Last Specter, Ratchet and Clank: All 4 One, and Rocksmith.

New on the downloadable games front is:

• On the PlayStation Store Payday – The Heist, Okabu, Rocketbirds: Hardboiled Chicken, Dungeon Defenders, Real Steel: The Video Game, Beat Hazard Ultra, Sam & Max: Beyond Time and Space (PSN), Street Fighter Alpha 3 (PS1), Dead Space, and Ridge Racer 7: 3D Version (PS3) all become available (updates Tuesday).
• While Xbox Live Marketplace gets Dungeon Defenders (updates Wednesday).
• The Wii Shop, DSiWare & 3DS eShop‘s games include the Game Boy classic Double Dragon.
• On Steam this week: Alien Zombie Megadeath, Payday: The Heist, Renegade Ops, Dungeon Defenders, Cities XL 2012, and Football Manager 2012.
