Our Gears of War 3 Collectibles Locations Guide showing you all 42 collectibles locations in the Xbox 360 game.

You will obtain the following achievements as you collect these: Collector worth 5 Gamerscore for collecting 5 of them, Pack Rat worth 10 Gamerscore for collecting 20 of them and finally Hoarder worth 15 Gamerscore for finding all 42 collectibles.

ACT 1 Collectibles

There are a total of 14 collectibles in ACT 1.

Chapter 1: Anchored

Collectible #1: Twenty Dollar Bill
You will find this collectible once Marcus stands up at the beginning of the chapter. It will be on top of the desk next to the bed.

Collectible #2: Dom’s Psych Report
You will find this collectible before you head into Dom’s quarters. You will instead go inside of the medical room to your left on the way to his room and it will be on top of the small table.

Collectible #3: Requisition Form
You will find this collectible in the next room on the left room just past Dom’s room. It will be on top of another table with 2 laptops, weapons and tools.

Chapter 2: Abandon Ship

Collectible #4: Silverback Manual
You will find this collectible just before you ride the Silverback. It will be on the left side of the storage bay on top of the middle crate. This will be right after you have to run across the deck before you die from the moving cargo containers.

Chapter 3: Homecoming

Collectible #5: Journal
You will find this collectible lying on the ground near a dead body in the restaurant courtyard after kicking your way the gated doorway. There will be a white sign that says “Home of the Best Breakfast in Town” to the left of the gated door. You will need to make sure you get this before you start to walk into the light or else a cutscene will take over and you will have to reload the chapter.

Collectible #6: Child’s Diary
You will find this collectible inside the playground area. It will be lying on the ground inside of the playground set with the slide attached to it.

Collectible #7: Grocery List
You will find this collectible inside of the grocery store. It will be at the end of cash register #1.

Chapter 4: Helping Hand

Collectible #8: Clipping, Times-Tribune
You will find this collectible after you go through the camp’s warehouse with the leader of the Stranded and can use your weapon again. It will be lying on the ground next to a cargo container on the opposite side from where the loading door to exit the warehouse is at.

Chapter 5: MVP

Collectible #9: Cougars Season Program
You will find this collectible just after you enter Cougar Stadium. You will have the choice of which path to take, the Upper or Lower level. You will need to pick the Upper level in order to get this collectible. It will then be straight from where you start inside of an umbrella shop on the right lying on the ground behind the cash register counter.

Collectible #10: Cougars Playing Handbook
You will find this collectible after you have cleared the lobby area and pass under the South Gate sign. It will be to your right by the vending machines lying on the ground. This will be before you go through the Section T doors.

Collectible #11: Cole’s Championship Ring
You will find this collectible right after the cutscene when Cole pretends that he is a football player and when you have full control over him again. It will be lying on the ground next to a tent with ammunition crates inside and a dead woman against a small metal crate.

Chapter 6: Hanging by a Thread

Collectible #12: Toll Booth Tokens
You will find this collectible behind the middle Toll Booth on the right side of the bridge lying on the ground in the trash. This will be just after you zip-line onto the bridge and kill the Locust Snipers that spawn at the top area above the Toll Booths.

Collectible #13: Bayonet
You will find this collectible just after the Toll Booth area. It will be inside of an open cargo container with a wooden crate box inside that needs to be destroyed first to collect it from the ground.

Collectible #14: Sightseeing Book
You will find this collectible just after taking down the Gas Barge in the sky and heading down the ramp to the lower level of the bridge. You will come to another ladder leading up towards the objective to drop the Tickers onto the Lambent Leviathan. Then when you get to the top, go to your right as you exit the doorway to the outside and it will be lying on the ground next to the stairs.
