Dead or Alive 5 Trailer Reveal at Tokyo Game Show 2011

Dead or Alive 5 has been announced at the Tokyo Game Show 2011 as the latest and fifth core title in the long-running fighting game series from Tecmo and Team Ninja. And the sequel to Dead or Alive 4.

This is the first Dead or Alive game that is being developed without creator Tomonobu Itagaki, who originally produced the title as well as the Xbox Ninja Gaiden series.

As you can see from the debut Dead or Alive trailer, the game will have much larger and more interactive stages than ever before. It is being produced by Yousuke Hiyashi who uses the tagline “fighting entertainment” to explain the direction of the title.

It will be released for Xbox 360 and PS3 in 2012.

Jumping from 3ds to ps3. Next they should probably bring out remakes of the older games on PSN and xbox arcade for ones that have never played a single dead or alive game like myself but hopefully I will be getting dead or alive dimensions for the 3ds on my birthday or for christmas.
