Budget Gaming: Your Suggestions!

Hello everyone and welcome to VGB’s Budget Gaming feature with Meg!

In this video series I’ll be going through my personal tips and recommendations for saving money on video games! But don’t forget to submit your own, so I can feature them in the future.

In this budget gaming video I’ll be talking about your suggestions!

A suggestion from kazxena via youtube, says that Charity shops are always a good option for saving money!

  • Kazxena’s own charity shop finds include Luigi’s mansion for the gamecube, which was found and purchased at a charity shop for £1.00! Powerstone and Space Channel for the Dreamcast were 50p each and a complete master system package with 10 games was purchased for only £10! Amazing deals!
  • It’s always wise to check the disks on Charity Shop purchases too as I mentioned in my Car Boot Sale video!

Another suggestion via youtube, made by Honshu88, mentioned Zavvi.com (UK only)! All the Zavvi shops local to my area went bust, I had no idea there was a website!

  • Like Play.com (UK only) and CEX (US & UK) many games new and old are available for reasonable prices. The shipping is also free to the UK!
  • Zavvi doesn’t always have the best deal in town but it’s worth a look if you are searching for something specific.

The last suggestion comes from Redgamer, left in the Videogamesblogger comments section in my websites video, who left links to many titles that you can download and play for free! Games such as League of Legends and Alien Swarm or flash games like Portal and Adventure Quest are included. Check them out via the links below!

Thank you kazxena, Honshu88 & Redgamer for these great suggestions.
