Our Resistance 3 Journals Locations Guide will help you find all 42 Journals. After finding all of these journals you will receive a Silver Trophy called Archivalist.

Once you pick up a Journal, the game automatically saves so if you die or quit the game at a certain point you do not have to go back to collect them again.

Journal 1: Feral vs. Military
You will find this text journal at the beginning of the chapter next to Susan on the wooden table.

Journal 2: Postcard from Bogota
You will find this text journal in the 3rd room lying on top of a wooden bed that is to the right of a woman sweeping the floor. You will come across it and this room just shortly after finding Journal #1.

Chapter 2 – Wanted Man

Journal 3: Bite Protocol
You will find this text journal at the beginning of the chapter; it will be on the table to the right of the Doctor who is treating a wounded soldier.

Journal 4: Note to Jon Harper
You will find this text journal at the beginning of the chapter; it will be on the desk to the right of the chalkboard with a Chimera drawing and before going upstairs. It will be just after finding Journal #3.

Journal 5: Leaper Bite
You will find this audio journal inside of the house just after you have fought your first fight with the Chimera in this chapter. When you meet Tommy Dean inside of the house, head up the stairs to the 2nd floor and it will be inside the first bedroom to the right on the bed.

Chapter 3 – Paradise Lost

There are no Journals in this chapter.

Chapter 4 – Women and Children First

There are no Journals in this chapter.

Chapter 5 – Wrightsburg

Journal 6: Change in Strategy
You will find this Malikov journal right in front of you at the front of the ship during the boat ride at the beginning of the chapter. It will be lying on the ground to the right in front of a tire.

Journal 7: Ice Blocks
You will find this text journal at the back of the ship during the boat ride at the beginning of the chapter. It will be on top of a wooden crate near a first aid kit.
