Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary Collector’s Edition is not on tap, so instead 343 Industries is offering pre-order bonuses for fans, who will get some extra goodies if they pre-order the game before its November 15th, 2011 release date.
Those who pre-order this hit Xbox 360 remake of the original Halo 1 for Xbox1, will recieve Master Chief Avatar Armor and a special in-game Grunt Funeral Skull.
The Grunt Funeral Skull causes Grunt deaths to go out in an explosion of guts and glory, via a Plasma Explosion. This is the first time a Skull has been confirmed for the game, so fans can expect much more when the game actually hits. Skulls were not originally part of Halo until Halo 2, so they weren’t included in the Xbox original.
