Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine downloadable content co-operative play will come with a post-launch DLC expansion called Exterminatus.
A fitting name for a mode that is essentially Warhammer 40,000: Space Marine’s take on Gears of War’s Horde Mode. A mode that is unique and a huge addition for the upcoming third-person action adventure game; due to the fact that co-op will not be available out-of-the-box.
In the new mode, just like in Horde, up to four-players can hop online and battle progressively more deadly hordes of difficult enemies that come to attack your team.
Every kill will earn you new points that you can use to upgrade your weaponry.
Thankfully the Exterminatus expansion will be available at no additional charge, that’s right it’s free, in October.
