A white-and-gold-colored PS3, the “Ni no Kuni Magical Edition”, has officially been announced by Level-5 and Sony as a new system bundle for the game in Japan.

The first videogame created by anime feature film company Studio Ghibli (Spirited Away, Castle in the Sky), the game is called “Second Country: The Jet-Black Mage” or “The Another World” and is a highly anticipated RPG with a film-like graphical quality. A DS version was also made and released in .

The bundle includes the limited edition colored version of a 160GB PS3 console and a copy of the game, with a matching cream white colored controller.

The bundle runs ¥33,780, a bit more than the Tales of Xillia PS3 bundle. Approximately $439.16 in U.S. dollars.

It will be released in Japan on November 17th. No word yet on whether the game, or system, will ever be released outside Japan. But one can hope!
