Key Features

Improved Gadgets
All the gadgets in the previous game will be present at the start of the sequel, however most of them will possess improved capabilities! for example, the Cryptographic sequencer can now track signals. A new smoke-bomb will be available too, which you can use to daze and evade your enemies.
A New Playable Character
Players can now take control of Catwoman! The combat in this mode revolves around acrobatic moves involving her primary weapons, whips, bolas, and claws. ‘Thief vision’ (her own detective mode) also enables her to locate items to steal which can aid the player during a heist.
Improved Detective Mode
A few improvements have also been added to Batman’s ‘detective mode’. Now called the ‘augmented reality mode’, players can perform forensic-based actions as well as searching for clues on-screen.
Puzzle-based Gameplay
Batman Arkham City promises to incorporate increased puzzle elements to the gameplay. The player will now have access to a criminal database and can track villains throughout the city.
Mission Objectives and Combat
Movement about the city is made increasingly difficult because of gangs and in-fighting between rival villains, such as Two-Face and the Joker.
As a result, the player has the chance to change their play-style depending on the situation.
For example you can move silently, evade inmates and other dangers using gadgets and new tactics to surprise the enemy. You may be forced however to fight through inmates or gangs using an improved combat system, allowing for multiple counters.
