The Big News in Japan: Hatsune Miku Project Diva Dreamy Theater 2nd!

Sega has finally announced the release date for Hatsune Miku Project Diva Dreamy Theater 2nd!

A PS3-plat sequel to the hugely popular, rhythm-based, PSP/PS3 game ‘Dreamy Theater,’ this is exciting news considering the hype that has been building around this title!

Initially set for a July release, Sega revealed that ‘Dreamy Theatre 2nd’ would be out on August 4th and compatibility with 3D televisions has also been confirmed.
The price too has been set at 3,900 yen (900 more than its predecessor.) This would work out to around 48 dollars or 30 pounds if you are living in the UK!

Though it is unlikely that the game will be released outside of Japan, the game could still be imported via www.play-asia.com given that the Playstation 3 is region-free!

I’m not surprised that this has gone over so big in Japan. This looks like another type of Karaoke, that the Japanese are mad for.

Haha its a pretty epic game, and REALLY hard in some spots, it has that addictive quality I think lol.
The arcade ver. of Project Diva is so cool too! I think I too could get quite obsessed – but I’m no karaoke singer hehe xD
