How to unlock all Resident Evil The Mercenaries 3D characters, costumes, weapons (3DS)

Here’s how to unlock all of the Resident Evil: The Mercenaries 3D characters, alternate costumes, weapons and skills in Capcom’s new horrifying action-shooter on the Nintendo 3DS.

Characters To Unlock

Claire Redfield — Unlocked by clearing Mission 1-3 with a B rank.

Rebecca Chambers — Unlocked by clearing Mission 2-3 with a B rank.

Jack Krauser — Unlocked by clearing Mission 3-5 with a B rank.

Barry Burton — Unlocked by clearing Mission 4-5 with a B rank.

Albert Wesker — Unlocked by clearing Mission 5-5 with a B rank.

Alternate Costumes To Unlock

Chris Redfield (Pilot) — Unlocked by getting 10 Medals or an SS-rank in Mission Level 1-3.

Barry Burton (American) — Unlocked by getting 20 Medals.

Claire Redfield (Suit) — Unlocked by getting 25 Medals.

Jill Valentine (from Resident Evil 3) — Unlocked by getting an S-rank on Mission Level 3-5.

Jack Krauser (Exoskeleton) — Unlocked by getting an S-rank on Mission Level 5-5.

Albert Wesker (Uroboros) — Unlocked by getting a B-rank or above for all Mission.

HUNK (Reaper) — Unlocked by getting all A-rank on all Mission Level, except in Level Ex.

Rebecca Chambers (Nurse) — Unlocked by getting all S-rank on all Mission Level, except in Level Ex.

Weapons To Unlock

To enable an individual character’s weapons for all other characters in the game, you must score SS rank using the character (whose weapons you want) on every Missions up to Mission 5-5.

The easy way to unlock each character’s weapons for everyone, is to spend 10 Nintendo 3DS Play Coins to unlock said character’s weapons in the game.

Skills To Unlock

Handgun Technique — Unlocked by clearing Mission 4-1 with a B rank.

Medic — Unlocked by clearing Mission 1-3 with a B rank.

Revenge — Unlocked by clearing Mission 4-2 with a B rank.
