Mario Marathon 2011 LIVE all weekend!

Mario Marathon is back again this year for the 4th time. A non-stop live marathon of Super Mario Bros. 1, 2, 3, The Lost Levels, Super Mario World, 64, Sunshine, Galaxy, Galaxy 2, and New Super Mario Bros. Wii is going on right now!

If you keep donating to Child’s Play*, they will keep playing all weekend and beyond! So far, before it has even started, they have already raised over $14,000!

The LIVE feed will start playing automatically when you press play. Fun to watch!

That means that right now, three former college room mates (Brian “Shirt Guy” Brinegar, John “Couch Guy” Groth, and Chris “Slouch Guy” Deckard), some other friends and Couch Dog are attempting to play through each one of the above Super Mario games in their entirety.

The 2010 event lasted 5 days, attracted over 300,000 viewers, and raised over $82,000 for Child’s Play. So far they’ve already beaten the first year’s total amount before the marathon has started.

* Child’s Play Charity provides toys, games and books to patients of children’s hospitals world wide.
