Turtles In Time Re-Shelled no longer available to download on XBLA/PSN after June 30, 2011
TMNT: Turtles in Time Re-Shelled, the downloadable-exclusive remake of the hit arcade/Super NES beat-em up, will go offline and be deleted from Xbox Live and PlayStation Network on June 30th in the United States.

So if you want to get in on this 3D remake of the classic brawler, be sure to get up and onto XBLA or PSN to download the title.

Why is it being deleted? Apparently it is due to an expired license by Ubisoft, who apparently didn’t renew it and thus will let the game die. After it is taken down the game will no longer be attainable. There is also no word on whether or not the game will still work if you already own it, hopefully so.

Sadly though, me and Ferry did not think the game faired well, as you can read in my TMNT: Turtles In Time Re-Shelled review.

Here is a video review of the game in action.

This is why going digital is a horrible idea. Yeah, it’s cool that there’s availability and you’ll be able to find it, but then when it’s removed from the store, you’re screwed. It better not be removed from my download list.

I even if its deleted on my folder, you can re downloaded, but new comers can’t, only if you buy it before.
