Just Dance 3 was announced by Ubisoft at E3 2011 and promises to take the dancing phenomenon to new heights as the series goes multiplatform for the first time!

In addition to hitting the Wii during October of 2011 worldwide, Just Dance 3 will also be released for Xbox 360, taking advantage of the Kinect motion sensor, and on the PlayStation 3, taking advantage of the Move Motion Controllers. The Wii version meanwhile will take advantage of Wii MotionPlus.

“The Just Dance brand has truly become a worldwide phenomenon with over 30 million people playing Just Dance,” said Geoffroy Sardin, chief marketing and sales officer at Ubisoft EMEA. “Fans play Just Dance at parties with friends, at home with the family, and as part of an active lifestyle to stay fit or even lose weight. Ubisoft is excited to bring Just Dance 3 to all motion platforms and give even more people the opportunity to enjoy the fun.”

Just Dance 3 will feature over 40 tracks across a “wide range of musical genres” including pop, hip-hop, rock, R&B, country, disco, funk, and more.

Announced Just Dance 3 songs include:

1. 2 Unlimited – “No Limit”
2. Black Eyed Peas – “Pump It”
3. Duck Sauce – “Barbra Streisand”
4. Groove Century – “Boogie Wonderland”
5. Gwen Stefani – “What You Waiting For”
6. Katy Perry – “California Gurls”
7. Kiss – “I Was Made For Lovin’ You”

All-new features will also be added that take advantage of each of the unique strengths of the three platforms. The Wii version will include four-player choreographies and dynamic environments, and Kinect will feature a new Shout Out! move that allows you to earn extra points by shouting out your favorite song verse.

Ubisoft promises that “this, combined with the entertaining and unique choreographies developed by professional dancers, will provide players with the fun and accessible challenges they are looking for – ensuring that Just Dance 3 will get the world dancing.”
