How to unlock all Super Monkey Ball 3D cars (3DS)

There are 6 unlockable karts or “cars” in Super Monkey Ball 3D for the Nintendo 3DS that you can unlock for the “Monkey Race” (Monkey Ball Kart Racing) mode of the game, just as you can unlock various additional characters.

This guide will show you exactly how to unlock additional vehicles for you to use.

Unlockable Monkey Race Cars

Time Trial Mode holds the key to unlocking additional Cars to use in the Monkey Race mode of the game. You must post a time that is greater than the original record for a track in Time Trials, beat the record time and you will unlock a car! There is one additional car to unlock for each of the levels.

How to Unlock the Flying Carpet – Post the high score for the second track of Mt. Tyrano.
How to Unlock the G Catepillar – Post the high score for the first track of Mt. Tyrano.
How to Unlock the Kitana – Post the high score for the third track of Sky-Way.
How to Unlock the Mini Shooter – Post the high score for the second track of Sky-Way.
How to Unlock Robotron – Post the high score for the first track of Sky-Way.
How to Unlock Super Tops – Post the high score for the third track of Mt. Tyrano.
