Galaga Legions DX has been announced as an update to the hit XBLA game from the team that developed Pac-Man: Championship Edition DX.
This time the game is coming to PS3 and Xbox 360 via Xbox Live Arcade and PlayStation Network. This is in celebration of Galaga’s 30th anniversary!
Legions DX will include updates to the original Galaga Legions that include a new Classic Mode that has a control scheme and gameplay that is similar to the original arcade Galaga.
In total Galaga Legions will offer a whopping 60 levels for players to master in 6 modes.
Legions allows players to fight off the invading armada with two satellite ships that players can deploy and control by tilting the right analog stick in any cardinal direction. The Satellites will stay fixed in the direction you tilted. The original game featured only two modes so DX will offer three new modes for players to master.
