Call of Duty: Black Ops Escalation, a new DLC Map/Content Pack has been revealed thanks to Australian retailer GAME, which prematurely revealed an official image from the forthcoming downloadable content.
From what can be gathered from the advertisement scan, Escalation will contain a Zoo, Hotel, Convoy and Stockpile environments as well as “Call of the Dead”, which are all most likely new maps. That means four new regular multiplayer maps, and one new Zombies map.
Of course, this is all just speculation based on the image, and we don’t know the actual contents, other than what the image seems to suggest. So it all could be referring to the same one map for all we know. We won’t find out until an official announcement is made.
The new DLC is reportedly scheduled for release first on Xbox Live on May 3rd, 2011 followed by a PC and PSN release at a later date. Pricing wasn’t revealed in the leaked images.
