Our Angry Birds Rio walkthrough will guide you through the beginning to ending moments of gameplay and puzzle solutions for this brand new game on iPhone, iPod Touch, iPad and Android phones.

What happens when everybody’s favorite fierce fowl get caged and shipped to Rio? They get very angry! In Angry Birds Rio, the original Angry Birds are kidnapped and taken to the magical city of Rio de Janeiro, where they eventually escape their captors and set out to save their friends, Blu and Jewel – two rare macaws and the stars of the upcoming Fox motion picture, Rio. Angry Birds Rio will pair the physics-based gameplay of the original game with unique twists based on the film.

Angry Birds Rio features: Two fantastic episodes with 60 new levels. New achievements. Special Hidden fruits to discover. And a spectacular boss fight!
Aside from these initial 60 levels, expect episodic updates throughout 2011 in: May, July, October, and November.

Episode 1: Smuggler’s Den

Angry Birds Rio walkthrough 3 Stars – Levels 1-1 to 1-5

1-1: Aim the round red bird at just bottom row of cardboard boxes on top of the crates.

1-2: Aim the round red bird at first row of cardboard boxes. The bird will roll into the second row of cardboard boxes and release all of the cage birds.

1-3: Aim the round red bird at the bottom, left-hand corner of the cardboard boxes. This will cause the pyramid to tumble-down to the left.

1-4: Aim the round red bird the top of the first stone brick of the front of the first tower. This should push the first tower into the rest of the level.

1-5: Aim the round red bird way up high at the ball hanging from the chain in the middle of the level.

Angry Birds Rio walkthrough 3 Stars – Levels 1-6 to 1-10

1-6: Aim the blue ice bird at the front tower and break him up into three parts so that the entire first tower is covered. Then the next ice bird should be aimed at the remaining ice pyramid, breaking him into three just before he hits the tower.

1-7: Aim the blue ice bird at the middle of the level, breaking him up just after launching so that he hits the entire level, breaking all of the ice.

1-8: Aim the blue ice bird at the ice block at the very top right-hand corner of the level, holding up stone blocks. This will cause the stone blocks to fall and crush the entire level.

1-9: Aim the blue ice bird at the front, bottom corner of the level. Break him up just before he hits and this should weaken the left side of the level enough to bring it all down.

1-10: Aim the blue ice bird at the top of the first level, breaking him up midway between launch and the tower. The first tower should fall into the next tower and bring down the entire level.

Angry Birds Rio walkthrough 3 Stars – Levels 1-11 to 1-15

1-11: Aim the yellow woodpecker at just above the first cage with the yellow bird. Boost him just under the fan for maximum power to take down the whole level in one shot.

1-12: Aim the yellow woodpecker at just above the red caged bird at a weak point in the level. Boost him just before he hits and he will take down the entire level in one hit.

1-13: Pull the yellow woodpecker all the way down to lauch him really high. When he starts to descend and is aiming at the cage with multiple birds tap the screen for his boost. This should cause the back tower to topple onto the rest of the level.

1-14: Aim the round red bird at the crate in the front of the level. This should bring down the first tower and open the way up for the second red bird. Pull him down to just below the path of the first bird and aim him at the weak spot in the middle of the remaining tower to finish the level.

1-15: Aim the round red bird at the top of the first tower, this should release the birds from the first and second towers. Pull the second red bird down to just below the path of the first bird and aim him at the top of the third tower to release the rest of the birds.

Angry Birds Rio walkthrough 3 Stars – Levels 2-1 to 2-5

2-1: Aim the red bird at the stone slab at the top of the middle tower. Then aim another red bird along the same path, causing the entire level to collapse.

2-2: Aim the ice bird front of the first tower breaking it into 3 before it hits. Then aim another ice bird at the front of the second tower. Last aim another ice bird at the remaining tower in the back of the level.

2-3: Aim the woodpecker at the pineapple hanging from a chain, causing the back tower to collapse forward. Then aim the second woodpecker at remaining middle of the level.

2-4: Aim the woodpecker at the first chain, boosting before hitting the chain so that it will fly across the level and bring it all down. Then aim the woodpecker at the remaining caged bird.

2-5: Aim the ice bird straight at the ice in the front of the level. Then aim the second ice bird at the top back of the level.

Angry Birds Rio walkthrough 3 Stars – Levels 2-6 to 2-10

2-6: Aim the yellow woodpecker at the top hollow stone block at the base of the first tower. This should push over the entire level.

2-7: Aim the round red bird at the wooden base of the front of the level. Then use your red bird to smash the crates underneath the level. Last, use your yellow woodpecker to take out the rest of the level.

2-8: Aim the blue ice bird at the bottom of the level, just above the cardboard boxes, breaking him up just after launch. Then take another blue ice bird and aim at the middle of the level, breaking him up into 3 parts just after launch. Last, take a third blue ice bird and aim him at the remaining caged bird.

2-9: Aim the round red bird at the ice block at the bottom of the level to bring down the front of the level. Then aim a woodpecker a the bottom of the second tower, boosting him when the starts to decline. Last use another round red bird to take out the cage hanging at the end of the level.

2-10: Aim the woodpecker at the front of the level over the cardboard boxes. Then send a second woodpecker along the same path to topple the wooden arch to the left.

Angry Birds Rio walkthrough 3 Stars – Levels 2-11 to 2-15

2-11: Aim the wood pecker just under the stone block in the middle tower under the yellow caged bird. Then use another yellow woodpecker to take out the remaining caged birds.

2-12: Aim the blue ice bird just underneath the lamp, breaking him up into three parts to take out the first tower. Then aim the woodpecker at the TNT, using his boost to go through the second tower. Then use a red bird to get the remaining cage bird at the end of the level.

2-13: Aim the yellow woodpecker at the middle of the middle tower to take out the back half the level. Then aim another yellow woodpecker at the stone block in the middle of the remaining tower.

2-14: Aim the blue ice bird at the hollow ice block at the front bottom of the level. Then aim the round red bird at the same weakened spot to topple the level to the left. Last use another round red bird to take out the remaining cage.

2-15: Aim the round red bird at the top of the first wheel. Then use the yellow woodpecker to boost across the top of the level where there are birds hanging on chains. This will cause the entire level to come crashing down.

Episode 2: Jungle Escape

Angry Birds Rio walkthrough 3 Stars – Levels 3-1 to 3-5

3-1: Aim the red bird at the middle of the back tower. Then aim the ice bird at the second tower so that it pushes it over into the remaining tower.

3-2: Aim the ice bird at the third tower, weakening both middle towers. Then aim the woodpecker bird at the TNT in the back of the level. This should knock out the entire level.

3-3: Aim the red bird at the weak spot in the first palm tree. Then aim the ice bird at the flower and vine on the top of the level. Last, aim another woodpecker bird at the remaining monkey in the back of the level.

3-4: Aim the woodpecker bird at the front of the house underneath the roof. Then aim another woodpecker at the remaining monkey.

3-5: Aim the red bird at the hollow wood block in the middle of the level. Then aim the ice bird at the top remaining monkey. Last, aim the last ice bird at the bottom remaining monkey.

Angry Birds Rio walkthrough 3 Stars – Levels 3-6 to 3-10

3-6: Aim the egg bird’s egg just in between the two ice towers, knocking down most of the level. Then aim the ice bird at the remaining monkey.

3-7: Aim the woodpecker bird at the middle monkey which will cause the level to collapse. Then aim the egg bird’s egg in between the two remaining monkeys.

3-8: Aim the red bird at the wooden bottom of the second tower, collapsing it onto the first tower beneath it. Then aim the egg bird at the middle tower, releasing its egg just before it hits. Last, aim the woodpecker bird at the remaining monkey.

3-9: Aim the ice bird at the first tower just below the flat. Then aim the red bird at the base of the second tower. Last, aim the ice bird at the same place, knocking over the second tower. Last use a red bird to collapse the right side of the bridge.

3-10: Aim the red bird at the bananas in the front of the level. Then aim the woodpecker at the top of the level, bringing it all crashing down.

Angry Birds Rio walkthrough 3 Stars – Levels 3-11 to 3-15

3-11: Aim the red bird at the TNT in the back of the level, blowing the level forward. Then aim the second red bird at the remaining monkey.

3-12: Aim the red bird at the top of the middle tower. That’s going to (slowly) collapse most of the level. Then aim the next two red birds at the remaining monkeys.

3-13: Aim the woodpecker at the back tower so that it collapses forward. Then aim the red bird at the remaining monkey.

3-14: Aim the woodpecker bird way up high so that it comes down on the front of the level. Then aim another woodpecker at the bottom of the level to collapse it. Aim the last woodpecker at the remaining monkey.

3-15: Aim the egg bird at the front of the level, exploding it’s egg before it hits. Then aim the woodpecker at the remaining monkey.

Angry Birds Rio walkthrough 3 Stars – Levels 4-1 to 4-5

4-1: Aim the ice bird up at the TNT in the back of the level. Then aim the woodpecker bird at the middle of the palm tree. Then aim the red bird at the remaining monkey.

4-2: Aim the woodpecker bird at the flower and tower in the front of the level. Then aim the egg bird at the base of the tower, releasing the egg just before it hits. Then aim the last woodpecker bird at the remaining monkey.

4-3: Aim the egg bird up at the back of the level, exploding it’s egg over the top middle monkey. Then aim the first monkey bird on the palm tree, taking out the rest of the level.

4-4: Aim the ice bird at the front bottom base of the level. Then aim the woodpecker at the TNT in the back of the level. The entire level should collapse.

4-5: Aim the woodpecker bird straight at the small house in the front of the level. Then aim the next woodpecker at the palm tree. Then aim the red bird at the base of the back tower. Finally use another red bird to bring the tower down onto the bridge.

Angry Birds Rio walkthrough 3 Stars – Levels 4-6 to 4-10

4-6: Aim the red bird up at the top monkey, collapsing the tower and most of the level. Then aim another red bird at the remaining monkey.

4-7: Aim the red bird up at the second tower, collapsing the entire level in one hit.

4-8: Aim the egg bird up high and release the egg in between the two first towers. Then aim the red bird at the bottom of the remaining part of the level, collapsing it.

4-9: Aim the woodpecker bird at the top of the first tower through to the third tower. Then aim another woodpecker at the TNT in the back of the level.

4-10: Aim the egg bird’s egg just after the first monkey on the palm tree. Then aim the red bird at the TNT on the bottom of the level, collapsing it all.

Angry Birds Rio walkthrough 3 Stars – Levels 4-11 to 4-15

4-11: Aim the egg bird up and drop it’s egg on the highest part of the level, in front. Then aim the woodpecker bird at the remaining monkey on top. Last aim the red bird to take out the remaining monkey.

4-12: Aim the red bird straight at the bottom base of the level, toppling most of it. Then aim another red bird up at the middle of the remaining part of the level.

4-13: Aim the ice bird at the front top of the level, bringing half of it down. Then aim another ice bird at the back of the level, breaking him up into 3 just before he hits.

4-14: Aim the egg bird’s egg at the first wooden structure. Then aim the woodpecker bird up at the palm tree in the middle, just above the monkey’s head. This will bring down the rest of the level.

4-15: This is a boss level and requires some timing. Every time you hear a “ding” it means the boss bird is moving into one of the four positions he moves into. Aim the double Rio bird straight at the TNT in the back of the level. This will set off a chain reaction, getting most of your needed points. Then aim the red bird directly at the boss after waiting for him to get into his lowest position.
