This is one of the most common questions and deep concerns that owners of DSi or DSi XL systems have about the 3DS.
And with good reason. Up until this point, Nintendo had been reluctant to confirm whether or not gamers would be able to transfer their previously downloaded DSiWare titles, games and Apps to the 3DS.
Wonder no more! At the Game Developers Conference 2011, Nintendo President Satoru Iwata stated in this speech that the end of May release of the E-Shop Channel would provide the solution for transfering DSiWare titles to the 3DS.
Exactly how this transfer will take place and if there will be any restrictions has yet to be revealed though. But as soon as it is, we’ll update this page to let you know the exact steps and details.
But it’s good to know that Nintendo has cleared up some of the confusion.
Do you own a lot of DSiWare games? Was this a stumbling block in your decision to purchase a 3DS? And now that you can transfer them, does this increase your likelihood to buy a 3DS?
