Epic Skyrim trailer shows first gameplay footage

The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim gameplay village screenshot (Xbox 360)
The first Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim gameplay trailer has been released and may well be one of the best trailers of all time.

This trailer of utter epicness reveals the first solid concrete details on what to expect from a visual and physics standpoint as we get a real first look at actual gameplay. And not only that, but this entire trailer was made with Xbox 360 footage of the game (nope, that is not PC footage) and the draw-distances are real, not fake; according to Bethesda’s community manager.

In addition to getting a look at lots of snowy, mountainous and forested terrain, as well as villages, you also get to see gameplay footage from both the third-person and first-person perspective, some sneakery, arching and even throat-sliting.

But most impressive of all are the dragons, our first-look at Dragon Shouts (as you defeat dragons you gain their abilities and learn part of the Draconic language; a full-fledged new language that will be in the game) and… The incredible music. If this game keeps up with music like this in the actual product, then I think Skyrim will be giving Baba Yetu a run for its money!

Here is the all-new gameplay trailer for The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim.
