Marvel Vs Capcom 3 is finally here, the world has been patiently waiting for the return of the worlds favorite arcade beat em up, now available on both Xbox 360 and PS3 Marvel vs Capcom 3 has landed and is sure to take the fighting scene by storm with some fantastic new fighters, a new control scheme and a host of special moves that will bring a tear to your eye.

Doctor Doom has assembled the greatest villains of the Marvel Universe and has joined forces with Albert Wesker in order to unite their respective universes in an effort to conquer both. However, this course of action awakens a great and powerful threat that could potentially destroy both worlds. It is up to the heroes of the Marvel and Capcom universes to put a stop to this evil before it is too late.

As everybody knows I’m not a huge fan of long drawn out reviews so let’s get straight to the action in this awesome video review.

What are your thoughts on Marvel Vs Capcom 3? Was it worth the wait or is it just us comic fans going crazy? Leave your thoughts and interesting comments down below.

Okay so now we’ve seen the video evidence lets break it down a little and see the scores.

With the intensity of MvsC 3 happening on-screen you would be forgiven for thinking there may have been some drop in looks, this is so far from the truth the game runs amazingly smooth and almost makes your eyes water. Character detail is pixel perfect down to every last line. The essence of every character is captured be it deadpool moonwalking away after performing an amazing combo or Ryu’s classic hadoken, this is what every fan has been waiting for.

Gameplay: 8
All the standards of a fighting game are here, a single player arcade mode, training and a super intense online multiplayer that doesn’t require months of practice making it well worth the wait. Controls have been modified from the original to use a more simple 3 button attack system taken from Tatsunoko vs. Capcom allowing even the novice to quickly become involved, but that doesn’t sacrifice depth in any way.

Music: 8
The background music is a treat to listen to never letting you down but the jewel in the crown of MvsC 3 is the voices, as the level begins characters will taunt each other in their own unique style and I still giggle every time I hear Ryu match up against Spider-Man with him proclaiming his dislike for spiders.

OVERALL FUN-FACTOR: 9
Is this worth the wait? The answer is “yes”, we the fans have been given a superb title definitely worth the years of begging. I find it hard to find any short falls MvsC 3 although the character list is slightly shorter than the previous title with DLC becoming available and more promised I’m sure soon everyone will have their favorites on their team in no time.

Till next time, game on everybody… Rob.
