Battlefield 3 has been fully unveiled with a new trailer as the official web-site has gone live. The game has been announced for release on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC in the Fall of 2011.

Battlefield 3 plans to offer the signature mass multiplayer gameplay that fans know and love and will reintroduce several elements of the classic series that were missing from Battlefield: Bad Company 2.

These include:

  • The return of fighter jets.
  • The prone position (only on PC).
  • and 64-player battles.
  • You’ll now be able to drag comrades to safety thanks to a new animation system, which also allows you to mount weapons on almost any piece of the terrain. And thanks to the Frostbite Engine destructible environments will be returning.

You’ll also be able to play in new single-player and co-op campaigns.
