The Genesis version of Virtual Fighter 2 has been re-released for the iPhone/iPod Touch/iPad by Sega.
The game is based on the fighting classic for the Mega Drive/Genesis, adding to the growing collection of Sega Genesis titles you can pick up for iOS systems.
Sadly this conversion is not the 3D arcade title that most players remember, but the 2D 16-bit version. The game has been modified to control easily on the iPhone and includes head-to-head (two-player Bluetooth, not online) multiplayer.
The game also has eight fighters to play as and eight stages to fight on.
The game costs £1.19 or $1.99.
