What were the best-selling games in America, Japan, and Europe the past week? Thanks to Amazon online sales data here are the games that are the hottest. Think of it as a games weather report.

What follows is a listing of the Top 10 bestsellers per region, for all systems combined.

North America’s Top 10 Games:

1. Just Dance 2 (Wii)
2. Wii Fit Plus with Balance Board (Wii)
3. Dance Central (Xbox 360 Kinect)
4. Kinect Sports (Xbox 360 Kinect)
5. Call of Duty: Black Ops (PS3)
6. Call of Duty: Black Ops (Xbox 360)
7. Just Dance (Wii)
8. Zumba Fitness (Wii)
9. Kinect Adventures with Kinect Sensor (Xbox 360 Kinect)
10. Mario Kart Wii with Wii Wheel (Wii)

Pretty much the same list as previous weeks, just with more exercise games. Ubisoft strikes again with another casual game everyone and their family can enjoy. It’s no wonder Just Dance 2 keeps topping the charts. Here’s the commercial depicting a 100% realistic dance scenario for your livingroom.

Japan’s Top 10 Games:

1. Monster Hunter Portable 3rd (PSP)
2. Studio Ghibli’s Second Land: The Jet-Black Mage (DS)
3. Arcana Heart 3 – Limited Edition (PS3)
4. Donkey Kong Country Returns (Wii)
5. Shape Boxing 2: Wii de Enjoy Diet!
6. Mass Effect 2 (Xbox 360)

I guesstimate Capcom has sold, in Japan alone, over 4.1 million copies of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd on PSP at this time. Expect this to keep selling for a long long time, as it becomes apparent from this video the fans really get into the game! Still no word on a Western release date from Capcom.

Europe’s Top 10 Games:

4. FIFA 11 (Xbox 360)

To recap the top games per system: Just Dance 2 returns to star on the Wii chart. Dance Central takes you to the dancefloor on the Xbox 360 chart. Call of Duty: Black Ops returns on the PS3 chart. Starcraft II: Wings of Liberty is #1 on the PC chart. Kingdom Hearts Re:coded debuts on first place on the DS chart. Kingdom Hearts: Birth by Sleep stays on top of the PSP chart. And lastly, Kingdom Hearts II makes a return on the PS2 chart.
