Grand Theft Auto 4 Movie created by French filmmaker

French filmmaker Mathieu Weschler has spent the last two years creating the world’s first feature-length machinima movie. Made in the world of Grand Theft Auto 4, it clocks in at 88 minutes!

To quote the creator’s synopsis:

“The “Trashmaster” divides his time between collecting garbage and cleaning up other forms of trash fouling up New York City’s streets: dealers, small-time criminals… When the dancers in his favourite strip club are mysteriously killed, the trashmaster finds himself hot on the trail of a particularly twisted serial killer.”

This reminds me of the Red Dead Redemption Movie: The Man from Blackwater. Very cool!

Thats one I’m going to have to make time for, amazing talent using GTA to create an entire full length film and it seems to be more entertaining than most things at the cinema lately.

Tooo looong slow and boring with all the extra unnecessary camera work, but it did get interesting towards the end.
