A new Homefront single-player trailer has been released which shows off the story mode for the game in which North Korea invades the United States in a future America circa 2027.
The game shows off the in-depth story featuring the new leader of North Korea and the events leading up to the invading of the U.S. and lots of single-player footage of the Americans defending their home turf.
Homefront is looking to me to be one of the most exciting upcoming first-person shooters, and this is coming from someone who is not a FPS fan. Fighting on and in environments that you can really, truly relate to is something that the first-person shooter genre has for the most part avoided, particularly in the war genre. Thus the setting and premise of Homefront definitely set it out from the pack and make me excited for its release on March 8, 2011 for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC.
