NOVA 2 release date announced. First trailer out

NOVA 2 now has a release date of December 16, 2010 for the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad. The sequel to original hit first-person shooter “NOVA: Near Orbit Vanguard Alliance”, essentially Gameloft’s “Halo”, will definitely come as an early Christmas presents for fans of the first game.

This newest title picks up directly after the first game, and see’s players returning as protagonist Kal Wardin who must stop an all-new mechanoid threat to the existance of humankind.

Like the first game you will explore some beautiful terrain, drive across it in various vehicles, use some awesome weapons and take out tons of enemies along the way. The series is highly regarded as the best the iPhone has to offer in first-person gaming, and the sequel doesn’t look to disappoint.
