The Elder Scrolls V: Skyrim was announced officially for the first time at the SpikeTV Video Game Awards 2010.

Along with the actual game announcement was a release date! November 11, 2011 (that’s 11.11.11). Save the date!

Platforms are still to be determined. Update: Since the show Bethesda has confirmed the game for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 release this year.

Platforms are yet to be determined but if the past trends hold true then the game will appear on PC and Xbox. You know it will at least appear on PC.

Actually, since the show Bethesda has confirmed the game for PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 release. I’ll update the post to reflect that.
