Ghostbusters: Sanctum of Slime has been announced as an all-new downloadable ghost-busting sequel to the hit videogame from 2009. It’ll be released in 2011 for Xbox Live Arcade, PlayStation Network and PC.

The game is being developed by Wanako and will include four-player support both locally as well as online; As players face massive bosses that will require teamwork and the tools of the trade including the proton stream, plasma inductor and the fermion shock.

However unlike last time, none of the all-star cast from the last game like Dan Ackroyd or Bill Murray will be making a return appearance in this title.

Fans though will be happy to know that players will be taking control of the Ecto-4WD for some fun vehicle sections.
