The PlayStation Move has shipped 4.1 million units since it launched in September announced Sony, hot on the heels of Microsoft confirming 2.5 million Kinect sold in 25 days.
This high number of shipped units shows a great deal of interest in the Wii Remote & Nunchuck-like motion-sensing set from retailers in only 2 months since it’s release in America, Europe, Asia and Japan (where it launched a month ago in October). This bodes extremely well for the Move going into the holidays and Christmas shopping season.
These numbers however do not include the PlayStation Eye or the Sub-Controller numbers, which are parts of the complete motion-sensing controller set.
Now for some cute kids swinging their Moves with all their might. No doubt there is more of this in our future.
