Sequence 4: Den Of Thieves

Castello Crasher

For full synchronisation on this mission you are required not to be detected at all.

Instead of using the bridge to enter the castle, swim over to your first check point.

To take out the guards quietly and from a distance use your throwing knives for a silent kill.

Use any available hay stacks to hide from the guards whilst moving about the castle.

Femme Fatale

For full synchronisation in this mission do not lose more than 10 health squares.

Once you locate Lucrezia to find the key , you will need to carry her back down into the dungeon, fighting guards along the way.

You can let Lucrezia go to fight the guards as she has no where to run and cannot escape.

Guardian Of Forli

100% Sync in this mission requires you to get a kill streak of 5.

To lose the guards chasing you there are many options, you can hit the rooftops using your free running, or maybe lose them by blending into a crowd.

Once you have outrun the guards the mission is complete.

A Man Of The People

This is a short straight-forward memory. Ezio’s sole objective is to enlist two citizens to the Assassins Guild.

Serial Offender

Ezio has two trainee assassins at his disposal, He has the opportunity to put them through their paces as he hunts the predatory Malfatto.

After reaching the first way point, you must follow the gestures made by each Courtesan on the route until you reach your target.

If you loose your way consult your mini-map to see a way point marker.

Finally approach the murderous doctor, tap the call assassins button in to order the novice assassins to strike.

Human Cargo

This mission need you to use your assassin recruits to kill the target for full sync.

Silvestro Savvatini can be located on the west side on Ponte Emilio, a bridge just south of Tibre Island. Use your eagle eye vision to identify Silvestro Savvatini, and trail him from a safe distance over the bridge. Once he turns to head south opposite the bank. Quickly run to catch up with Silvestro Savvatini and then hide behind the wall left of the scaffold.

Silvestro Savvatini will suddenly break into a sprint and eventually run underneath an arch. Don’t panic, Slowly jog to catch up with him. Approach from a safe distance and approach with caution.

Gaining visual contact by using your camera stick as Ezio stands out of view.

At the top of the stairs it’s a straight walk where the henchman awaits. Inch around the corner carefully.

Target Silvestro Savvatini then order Ezio’s recruits to slay him.

Enter the fray and kill all the soldiers marked with the targets. Finally approach the nearby pigeon coop to end the mission.

Note: After completing the mission you will be able to use the pigeon coups, to manage your recruits and send them on missions to gain experience.

War Plans

An Unexpected Visitor.

Sequence 4 Mission 8 Glitch Solution & Machine Gun Mission:

During mission 8 you may find yourself unable to continue, due to the white desynchronization’s wall, passing through the wall results in death and you will be unable to reach the war plans mission marker.

To gain access to the next mission and the area containing the third Leonardo bench location, walk into the wall and desynchronize, Ezio will drop down dead and will come back, except now when you walk through the wall a second time, you will not die. Instead the wall simply fades away, allowing you to continue to your next mission marker.

Flying Machine 2.0 – Leonardo Mission

This Flying Machine 2.0 mission follows the Machinegun mission called The Plan (this is all in Sequence 4: War Plans) where Leonardo wants you to destroy his machines that the Borgia forced him to make.

Leonardo has adjusted his flying machine with a small bombs launcher, making it extremely deadly. Make sure the Borgia’s can never use it.
For full synchronization on this mission you are required to not get hit while using this bomber machine.

The map location to start this mission is indicated by a black L (for Leonardo) marker on the map at the middle-bottom part of Antico District, at the Porta Tiburtina. Walk up to the white-light marker at the closed gate. You’re then taken to the city of Valnerina in the mountains of Umbria.

At the beginning of this mission you can easily pick off all the guards with your crossbow from the rooftop you start on. Next you must use your Eagle Vision to detect the architect (to the left of the same roof you start on) he will show up in golden instead of guards that are red. Then follow the Bomber plan builder / architect to his home while travelling in groups to avoid detection. Right after that you can easily make your way by taking the outside route along the rock wall (as to not be interrupted) to make your way to the plans and burn them.

The hard part is making it out of the village to the building that houses the flying machine. The trick is to pick off the pairs of patrolling guards one by one, preferably when they aren’t looking your way. When you shoot one down from afar with your crossbow, and then run back a little to create a distance between you and the second guard close to the first guard you just shot. Then when that second guard starts to investigate his dead colleague by kneeling down. That’s when you shoot him with the crossbow as well. Repeat this for the four pairs of guards leading up to the building you must climb to get to the flying machine.

On the next checkpoint you find yourself at the high wall surrounding the compound. You cannot be discovered by any guard at any time or you’ll desynchronize. Don’t waste your time with the guards patrolling the walls at the start and jump right off using the eagle jump into the bay of hay. Once you land in the hay, wait a few seconds for the two guards to pass you by. With their backs turned to you as they walk away you can use the dual-blades to knife both of them at the same time. A preferred method on all the pairs of guards here is to climb on a roof and wait for them to walk by and then, without locking on to either, press jump-kill attack button which will make you jump down on top of them as you knife both of them at the same time. There’s also a guard on a roof near your next checkpoint who you can easily take down with the crossbow before he detects you. Warning for the Solid Snake school of stealth fans amongst you… A little further into the compound don’t hide in the well, because the patrolling guards will poke a sword in there just-in-case someone like you is lurking to kill them from the shadows. 😛 As you can see from the next checkpoint’s location, you’ll need to climb the building from the right wall (carefully take out all the guards first). Jump to the building next to it and then again to the checkpoint’s building. After climbing the walls you’ll get there.

Next is climbing the inside of the building. Once you’re up, don’t try to take on the four talking guards, instead pull the flashing level to take them out without being detected.

The last part is flying the bomber machine. Once you start losing altitude, aim your bombs to the ground and the heat of the fires you start will propel you upwards again. Each factory needs to be hit twice, but take your time and circle around. That way you’re not too focused on the bombing to forget about your slowly losing altitude all the time. The very last part of this section has you stopping two cargo transfers and lastly a horseman. While the cargo needs to be hit right on top of it, the speed of the horseman means you’ll have to aim slightly ahead of him. It helps if your altitude is a bit lower, so your aim can be more precise.

Hell on Wheels – Leonardo Mission

Protip: Take it slow, move laterally to avoid getting your Tank shot. In the last scene, clear the yard first. Watch the video for more help completing this mission.

Outgunned

Before starting this mission make sure that Ezio has full supply of medicine and a complete set of Roman armour (If his finances allow). Ezio is automatically transferred to a location outside Rome. This will happen once Ezio makes his way into the way point.

Firstly you must perform the leap of faith to the haystacks below.

Leave the haystacks and follow the South wall until you reach the south-east corner.

When the coast is clear climb up onto the east wall over looking the cliffs. Climb along the outside of the wall until you reach a building. Quickly climb up the wall and move along to the safety of the east wall. If your not quick enough the guards will not detect Ezio.

Walk towards the west in a calm manner so as you might attract the guards that are standing on the north and the south You will eventually see Brute who is guarding some blue prints on the wall, make sure he is facing clockwise, quickly walk and tear the blue prints from the wall as he walks away from them.

As the cut-scene ends make sure the Brute is looking elsewhere. Climb up onto the small low roof towards the west, jump onto the north building running over the roof to passing over the way point maker below, drop down on the far side; using the catch back technique to avoid both damage and noise.

Approach the barrels slowly pressing the empty hand button. You must then run to through a short sequence of way points to avoid the explosion.

The Plan

This is the conclusion of Sequence 4, follow the on-screen instructions to proceed.
