    Our Fallout New Vegas Hollowed-Out Rocks Locations Guide shows the total of 42 Hollowed-Out Rocks in the PC, Xbox 360 and PS3 game.

    Hollowed-Out Rocks just contain random items from ammo to health to just other regular items or food.

    You could even store items you are carrying in a rock if you wanted to also. A good location to store your items is on Jacobstown as where you spawn when you fast travel there, it is right where you spawn. You can then quickly exchange or drop items as you fast travel without having to do multiple loads such as you would have to if you kept your items in Lucky 38 Casino for example.

    Hollowed-Out Rock Location #1

    Location: Goodsprings Cave

    It will be south (to the right) of the cave entrance.

    Hollowed-Out Rock Location #2

    Location: Primm

    It will be attached to a larger rock and near Chems scattered all around. It is also near the rock perimeter above the concrete support wall.

    Hollowed-Out Rock Location #3

    Location: Makeshift Great Khan Camp

    It will be near the desert plants on the west (right) side of the camp.

    Hollowed-Out Rock Location #4

    Location: Tribal Village

    It will be at the start of the Ravine Path and close to the corpses and tents.

    Hollowed-Out Rock Location #5

    Location: Yangtze Memorial

    It will be at the rocky bluff at the base of the south steps. There will also be a graffiti peace symbol.

    Location: Jack Rabbit Springs

    It will be south of the radiation pools, on the edge of the Dry Lake.

    Location: Morning Star Cavern

    It will be by the entrance to the cavern with bones and explosive crates at the base of it.

    Location: Crescent Canyon West

    It will be in the canyon and adjacent to a rusting car and at the west exit slope.

    Location: Crescent Canyon East

    It will be in the canyon on the east exit slope just after the fallen rail bridge.

    Location: Primm Pass

    It will be close to the Brahmin bones on the western end of the pass

    Location: Hidden Supply Cave

    It will be to the south (left) of the cave entrance with the “no missile” graffiti.

    Location: Walking Box Cavern

    It will be just slightly east of the cave entrance.

    Location: Broc Flower Cave

    It will be at the foot of the entrance slope with “The Sun is Killing Me” graffiti.

    Location: Dead Win Cavern

    It will be on the south (left) rock wall slope not too far from the entrance.

    Location: Powder Ganger Camp East

    It will be next to a Honey Mesquite Treet not too far from the south of the camp.

    Location: Hidden Valley

    It will be to the west of the eastern bunker with the “no missile” and a heart graffiti.
    I’m sure the metal spoon will really come in handy! :lol:

    Location: Black Rock Cave

    It will be just to the north (right) of the fallen radar dish and cave entrance.

    Location: El Dorado Dry Lake

    It will be to the west of the Savvaged Brahmin near the road in the sands of the Dry Lake.

    Location: Vault 11

    It will be to the northeast (right) of the cave entrance.

    Location: Abandoned BoS Bunker

    It will be with the small cluster of rocks and on the slope to the bunker grating.

    Location: Techatticup Mine

    It will be on the rock wall to the right of the entrance door with the white blocks graffiti.

    Location: Lucky Jim Mine

    It will be slightly past the shack towards the southwest near the wooden cart.

    Location: Cottonwood Cove

    It will be on the road before entrance sign between the two sets of crucifixion poles with “The Sun is Killing Me” graffiti.

    Location: Fire Root Cavern

    It will be at the foot of the entrance slope on the left side.

    Location: Searchlight North Gold Mine

    It will be on the flat and raised rock bank to the south (left) of the entrance hole.

    Location: Searchlight East Gold Mine

    It will be on the rock to the southeast (left) of the entrance. You will need to climb on the pile to reach it.

    Location: Bradley’s Shack

    It will be to the west (opposite) side of the shack entrance by the small valley landslide.

    Location: Cazador Nest

    It will be part of the rock wall on the east (right) side of the Nest alcove facing the alcove itself.

    Location: Boulder Beach Campground

    It will be by the side of the road northwest of the jetties with “The Sun is Killing Me” graffiti.

    Location: Follower’s Outpost

    It will be built into the steps of the signal box structure with “The Sun is Killing Me” graffiti.

    Location: Cannibal Johnson’s Cave

    It will be to the northeast (right) of the cave entrance.

    Location: Fisherman’s Pride Shack

    It will be by the campfire, just northwest of the shack.

    It will be to the east (right) of the cave entrance.

    It will be adjecent to the Camp Guardian Population sign. It is also where the Coyotes prowl at the base of the path up to Guardian Peak.

      @supermario We are sorry you feel that way. We may be able to add additional help (a pulled up map) and maybe with pictures in the future for these locations.

      But the description already itself does add help a lot, like I said we are sorry you feel different. While you explore New Vegas and play Quests, you will unlock a LOT of locations and this will allow you to know where everything is and fast travel back and forth as well. We already include the location which as you play, you should remember where they are at. Especially since your main focus will likely be playing all of the different Quests, be it the Main, a Side or a Free one.

      The actual Hollowed-Out Rocks though are hard to miss in general.

      listen, I’ma sorry about my brother’s developmentally disabled comments. He’s been doing NOTHING, but eating hot pockets, redditing and playing Fallout New Vegasm, since it’s release. He plays it 38 hours a day, 9 days a week. Total freakshow.

      Anypoop, he hasn’t been the same since… well… since Wario gave Princess the old blue shell; from behind… if you catch my drift.

      Also-ly, I thought your hollowed out rock locals were uber helpful. Thanks for actually adding to society, and not being a dreadful leaching also wearing RED fat douchebag.

      @Luigi: Haha good one, thanks for making light of your angry brother Mario. :-D

      While it’s hard to please everyone, when someone gets upset it’s usually because they are stressed from being stuck and unable to find a location. That’s why it would’ve been better if he told us where exactly he was stuck, so we could’ve helped him out. Like Steve said, we’d be happy to add a map or video where needed, just let us know.

      Hey, ignore Mario, your guide is awesome because its really helpfull.
      Mario said that it sucks, but I bet he still uses it to find the hollowed out rocks ;)
      Anyway, thatnks for doing this because I bet it took ages, and I also saw the unique weapon page, I bet that took even longer.
      I think this page is actually better than the official new vegas guide, so nice one =]
