Asura’s Wrath has been announced at the Tokyo Game Show 2010 going on right now.

The game is an all-new title for Capcom by developer CyberConnect2, who is known for their work on the “.Hack” franchise of RPGs as well as several Naruto titles.

The new game will hit Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3 and will once again be a “serial”-style game, specifically a “serialized drama”, although it is also an action title and is being built on the Unreal Engine 3.

“What we’re bringing to this game is a brand new style that will have you questioning whether or not you’re even playing a game … sometimes even we’re confused if what we’re making is a game.”

The trailer shows some ridiculous anime-style action with tons of enemies . . . however as awesome as it looks, it seems like the player simply presses buttons at certain moments. I assume the story changes if you fail, or something along those lines. Interseting.

Here is the new trailer.
