In this Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions walkthrough, you’ll be guided through the beginning to ending moments of cutscenes and gameplay for challenges and boss fights, in this highly anticipated superhero game that looks to repeat a Batman: Arkham Asylum’s success for Spider-Man on the Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Wii.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions blends together the many alternate universes of the world-famous webslinger with four unique takes on Spider-Man’s history in comics. In the game, Spider-Man attempts to retrieve a piece of a tablet that’s been scattered across multiple parallel dimensions, and in doing so he crosses over to storylines famous to comic book aficionados as variant tellings (including The Amazing Spider-Man, Spider-Man 2099, Spider-Man Noir, and Ultimate Spider-Man) of the Spider-Man mythology.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions walkthrough Intro & Tutorial

During this tutorial you will get a chance to play as all four of the available versions of Spider Man, take the time now in this level to start getting used to new controls and the combat mechanics. Each of the dimensions Spider Man types has a slightly different style but all the controls remain the same.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions walkthrough Chapter 1 “Kraven” – Part 1

Let the hunt begin, follow Kraven as he leads you deep into a jungle death trap filled with enemies and booby traps.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions walkthrough Chapter 1 “Kraven” – Part 2

Keep your eyes peeled or at least your spider sense turned on, so as not to miss any goodies while you’re swinging around.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions walkthrough Chapter 1 “Kraven” – Part 3

A very handy hint, use your evade technique when your spider sense tingles otherwise you will be on the receiving end of one of your enemies attacks.

Spider-Man: Shattered Dimensions walkthrough Chapter 1 “Kraven” – Part 4

Boss Fight. Kraven is now so powerful that attacking head on won’t do you any good, you will need to wait for him to become stuck in the pillars that are always popping up. To do this perch on top of a pillar and wait for kraven to attack then quickly jump to another pillar kraven’s blades will become stuck and now you can take advantage of him being unarmed and beat him to a pulp. Continue using the pillars to your advantage until you have defeated him.

I have been a huge fan of spider-man since I was a kid, and I am now 40. My brother used to get stacks of used comic books (in horrible shape as far as collecting but great for reading) and I’d read all the different ones but the one I came back to/looked forward to was Spider-man. In fact, after I got my first job I started collecting spiderman. I actually bought my first new copy of a spider-man comic from a Walgreens (where I now work) and after that from a comic store near the main university campus in Cincinnati. I did try to find older copies and also bought any special editions/new series, I could find. Especially anything with a number one on it lol. Anyways this game is fun, but I tend to like the last one “web of shadows” a bit better. I am not a big fan of 2099. Seems kinda sloppy and not very good camera work. Also I’ll agree with the person doing the walkthrough that the Noir spider-man is hard to get into. something about hiding in the shadows and not being able to control the spider-man action yourself. it would be better if we could use our own moves to take them out. Seems to pre-planned and slow paced, and also I’ll agree that the controls seemeed not as responsive especially in a mode where stealth is top priority. at times instead of zipping he swings when I clearly did not hit the controls that way. At first I thought my controller might be failing, but it worked great in other games. out of ten I’d give this game a 7. Though I will add I wish they would have made some of the adlibs/one-liners that spiderman says a bit more like they were in the comics, they seem kinda silly. Overall his comments in the comics were sometimes cringe-worthy but even the worst might still get a smile, these just make you want to turn the volume down. Also I am too big of a spider-man fan to give this any lower of a rating. even the old ps one games were pretty good (for their time) Anytme you are spider-man in a game it’s enjoyable enough to at least play till the end. This game does seem like it has too much of “friend or foe” tied into the game play for it’s own good. but overall I’d recommend it. Also this walkthrough/videos are awesome. I really did like the commentary as well as the tips in the Boss fight against Kraven video. Well done, and makes the walkthrough more enjoyable. Most are fine, they just don’t really offer anymore than the tips. This seems to be made by someone who both loves games and loves spider-man. So I’d recommend this walkthrough over any other out there hands down.

@Calvin WOW, awesome to hear from another spidey fan, I’ve been away for a while so I wasn’t able to answer as many comments as I’d have liked to, but again thanks for that I’m hoping we get to see another Spidey game soon though maybe something using the Kinect that could be cool.
