The newly announced games are Naruto Shippuden: Dragon Blade Chronicles for the Wii and Naruto Shippuden: Naruto vs Sasuke for DS.

Atlus USA has announced that they will be localizing and releasing these two new Wii and DS games in the Naruto Shippuden series! This is a surprise since Namco Bandai has typically been releasing them.

These two chapters in the Naruto Shippuden franchise, based on the extremely popular anime series, are currently scheduled for release on November 16, 2010.

Over the next few weeks certain retailers will offer special bundles, pre-order bonus items, and gifts-with-purchase for the games, making them perfect gifts for the holiday season.

Pre-Order either title from GameStop, and you’ll snag yourself a nifty Naruto baseball cap with an orange Naruto emblem on the front.

Amazon has two deals. The first is a simple metal keychain. But the really cool stuff comes with the $70 Amazon-exclusive Naruto Shippuden: Dragon Blade Chronicles action figure bundle set! This collector’s edition version of the game includes a set of five limited edition figures! And they are different depending on if you get the Wii or DS game, which in turn is for the $60 Naruto Shippuden: Naruto VS Sasuke exclusive figure collection. The figures include Naruto, Sasuke, Itachi, Kakashi and Gaara from Naruto Shippuden, as you can see in the images above.

“We’re very excited to work with Tomy Corp. and VIZ Media to present two new Naruto Shippuden games to fans across North America,” said Tim Pivnicny, Vice President of Sales and Marketing at Atlus. “We’re sure fans will have Naruto Shippuden on their holiday wish lists as they do every year, and we’re happy to bring them not only the games but also exciting bonus offers at retailers such as Amazon.com, Amazon.ca, Best Buy, EB Games Canada, GameStop, and Toys ‘R’ Us.”
