the reason that they possibly might not make a new game is because of the rising popularity of first person shooters such as call of duty, halo and battlefront so Lucas arts which is now disneyslucasarts has put there time and effort into the decision of the three new star wars films and the new star wars game which is star wars 1313 which is a game based around a first person shooter as you are a bounty hunter on Coruscant in the under levels of the city this new game has no lightsabers no force and no Jedi / sithlord interactions it is rumoured that on a mission you do how ever see the production of starkillers first ever clone but this is just speculation and the franchise has just gone through a massive buy out by Disney so if there were too be a fu3(force unleashed 3) then it wouldn’t be until late 2018 as the films are more important too the company at this point in time the star wars 1313 is set to be released sometime in 2016 that is if the department that split from the force unleashed development office is still going through with the project but if you are worried that you will loose your lightsaber duelling mind controlling force choking fun then don’t be as the star wars universe franchise announced a few months ago that there were too be new initial remakes of games if there is no new star wars game released in the next two years plus even if the game end of star wars is on hold for the moment in 2/3 years time there will be a new star wars film also for all you superman lovers out there you get the man of steel film which will be officially released on the 14th of july 2013 with the justice league film in production during 2013,i would also like to inform you that 2013 may 4th all around the UK sorry if your not in uk nearly every cinema will be having all star wars films its a star wars marathon with special surprise guests to appear in each cinema.i would also like to point out that people having been asking whether some old characters will be returning in the new star wars films with extensive research I can conclude that Ewan McGregor will be making a return,Samuel L Jackson even though he was enthusiastic about being in the new films will not be in them as his character mace windu died ine swrots(star wars revenge of the sith) and also in the comics what it shows you that it didn’t show you in the film was yoda and obi wan Kenobi performing a burial ceremony of him on alderon with the presence of ghost interaction qui gon jin.
