Resistance 3 was finally announced at Gamecom 2010 by Sony and Insomniac Games and is the long awaited third entry in the series.
And like with Infamous 2, it seems that Sony likes to be a little artsy with their big guns at the German show. Choosing to reveal the game with, not gameplay, not cinematics, but a LIVE ACTION trailer.
Thankfully for us the special effects are good, the song fits the mode and theme of the trailer well, and the Chimera attack at the end is done pretty good. Making for a nice little trailer to get us all hyped, even though absolutely nothing is known about the game. Which is all well and good, cause it won’t release until 2011 anyway.
