Grease: The Game for Wii505 Games has revealed the complete 16-track song list for Grease: The Official Video Game. It will be released on August 24, 2010.

Grease: The Game for Nintendo Wii is loaded with mini-games that let players sing the movie’s iconic songs, dance the hand jive hop, race down Thunder Road, fight for Sandy’s affections and have fun at the fair with Frenchy, Kenickie, Rizzo and the rest of the Greasers. Compatible with a Wii Balance Board and up to two USB microphones, up to eight players can compete in two teams for musical domination at Rydell High in party mode. — The DS and DSi versions of the game will test players’ rhythm skills as they tap to the beat of 10 beloved “Grease” songs as they follow Sandy and Danny on their high school journey. Players can also use the camera function of the Nintendo DSi to get in the game by uploading their face to their favorite character.

Here is the complete songs list for the game:

1. Alone at the Drive-in
2. Beauty School Drop Out
3. Born to Hand Jive
4. Freddy My Love
5. Grease Is The Word

Who is this supposed to appeal to? It looks like a kids game, but I don’t think most kids know what Grease is. Although people like the movie it seems rather silly to make a game out of it. Oh and the character models are downright awful looking. They look nothing like the leads from the movie. That’s just my two cents.

@youwreeka: I think it’s supposed to be mixed like that to appeal to both generations. Get the parents with nostalgic songs, and they can play it with their kids as a dancing game in the living room.
