Suicide Squad videogame in the works

A Suicide Squad videogame is in the works announced DC Comics Chief Creative Officer Geoff Johns at Comic Con 2010.
The Suicide Squad involved the government employing a group of supervillains to perform missions that were essentially “suicide runs”; Meaning they were going to die in the process of the mission.
The Suicide Squad started out as a small bit part in a Brave and the Bold story arc and then was updated later on, eventually getting it’s own series which was recently updated in 2007 with the Suicide Squad: Raise the Flag mini-series.
Now the Suicide Squad is reportedly being turned into a feature film . . . along with a videogame (though in an odd twist, only the latter is so far officially confirmed).
According to the reveal, the game will be “hardcore violent”, but that’s all the details we got for now.
