One of the biggest disappointments of E3 2010 for many was the fact that “I Am Alive” was not shown or mentioned in any form during Ubisoft’s Press Conference.

The game is one that was shown a few years back in July of 2008, originally by popular Assassin’s Creed producer Jade Raymond (who has since disappeared from public appearances) who was said to be making the game. However the game then went through lots of development issues. It was revealed that Raymond was actually not working on the game, and eventually development switched hands from the originally developers at Darkworks, to Ubisoft’s Shanghai studio who is now responsible for development of the project.

Now Ubisoft has finally released a new trailer at E3 2010. No other information on the game was released other than that Ubisoft has confirmed that the game is INDEED still in development with a 2011 release slated. It will be released on Xbox 360, PS3, PC and Wii.

As the title suggests, the game intends to do the Disaster Movie genre justice in videogames by having players survive an earthquake that devastates the city of Chicago.

Although no gameplay footage is shown, this trailer nonetheless has me excited for the game. Can’t wait to see some proper gameplay footage of it.
