Assassin’s Creed: Brotherhood‘s single-player campaign was highlighted at the Ubisoft E3 2010 Press Conference where they showed some live gameplay footage of an early section of the game.

This gives fans a good look at some of the new things they can expect to see in the single-player portion of this year’s sequel to Assassin’s Creed 2.

In addition to getting a glimpse of the storyline elements in the game, Ubisoft demonstrated new gameplay elements like a fierce horse right through the city (with talk of horse combat later on in the game) and bigger and more exciting set-pieces like a section where the player has to use mounted cannons on the walls to shoot down towers.

You also get some combat and the developers promise that there will be more moves to use and more ways to take out enemies than before. With a focus on attacking the enemy head on and being pro-active.

The game looks slick and very nice. Here is the on-stage demo. Before it starts you’ll get to see the absolutely kick ass CGI trailer.
