Dead Space 2 will be released on January 25, 2011 revealed publisher EA at their press conference for E3 2010.

During which they showcased all new gameplay footage for the game that showed off more of the single-player adventure that players will get to experience as Isaac Clark takes the battle to a gothic church and deals death to a number of Necromorph enemies.

The trailer really showed off the kind of “pee your pants” horror that developer Visceral Games is aiming for, with plenty of “jump scares” as hellish beasts lash out at you in surprising ways.

The game will be released on Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Here is the E3 2010 trailer.

And here is the gothic church gameplay footage shown at the show, which also gives you a first glimpse at the Sprawl-ing new city.
