The Xbox 360 Kinect has a release date of November 4th, 2010 in America with 15 launch titles to be included when the motion-sensing camera hits store shelves this holiday.

The Kinect is the final name of the Natal if you haven’t heard, and Kinect will be compatible with all current and future Xbox 360 consoles. The Xbox 360 Slim release date is June 16, 2010 as the system redesign will be available THIS WEEK.

Kinect launch titles known include:

* Kinect Sports
* Kinectimals
* Kinect Adventures
* Kinect Joyride
* Your Shape: Fitness Evolved from Ubisoft.
* Dance Central from Harmonix and MTV Games.
* Milo and Kate
* Brunswick Pro Bowling
* … many more to be announced. Others will likely be shown or announced in the coming days as E3 2010 kicks off.

All of this news was revealed during Microsoft’s Pre-E3 2010 Press Conference.

They DID NOT announce pricing for the Kinect outside of the system bundle or discuss whether you will be able to buy it separately. More on that info when it becomes available.

    If Microsoft didn’t treat everyone like trash I’d happily get this… I mean… you still have to pay to use xBox… online… don’t we already have an internet bill to pay, Microsoft?

    & true to the above commenter: most gamers just want to sit and use a controller. Some of these games makes our minds and fingers so busy it’s impossible to get up and move around. I doubt this’ll be huge. Just a “we can do what Wii can” thing. Well… no… you can’t play Mario or Zelda on a 360.

    PS3 has one similar.. but you have something in your hand the whole time… that makes more sense epically when playing tennis, etc. This system has become stable on the Wii… don’t know how Microsoft missed this little important part.

    Did you see the guy in this vid using his hand to play ping-pong with, man he looked so uncomfortable, lol.

    You crack me up, Microsoft. Not in a good way.

    Microsoft’s goal is to compete with Nintendo, just like Nintendo competed with Sony & Microsoft by releasing the Wii & the DS a few years back. That’s what I think. But the other thing Microsoft & Sony are trying to do, is getting families of all kinds to get off the couch & do something. This is probably because of all the “buzz” lately about teenagers sitting on the couch, playing games all day, etc. & everyone else wanting to stay fit & active, exactly why the Wii was released. So they made the Kinect & Move.

    The people have 2 options.

    - Buy a Wii
    - Buy Kinect or Move for your 360/PS3.

    It’s up to them.

    – Zero.

    Lol, dave, ever heard of paying for server cost? It takes more memory to run higher powered games (with better graphics) on the xbox than it does to run the stuff on the wii….. the kinect is for a higher functioning system than the wii, so don’t criticize how it costs money to play online. If the wii suits you, fine, but please don’t go off on the mentality of hardcore gamers since you don’t understand…… to each, his own, but most of the gaming community agrees with me

    SEE TOLD YA ALL DAT MICROSOFT WOULD MAKE SOME INTERACTIVE HARDWARD! Xbox 360, altough I’ll give it that it aint better, still remains no worse then the ps3. Jump in!
