You can now download Guitar Hero for iPhone/iPod Touch (also works on iPad) as the game is officially available on the App Store. And this is no third-party knock off, it’s the real deal by publisher Activision.
The game has players tapping the colored buttons at the bottom of the screen as four lanes with the famous colored notes come down the pike. Songs also have sections that have you strumming by sliding your fingers across the screen. Players can choose either base or guitar instruments, there are six songs included (with Queen and The Rolling Stones among them) with additional song packs available to purchase to add new tunes. You can also unlock new characters and customize them as you progress.
The game will run you $3 and is already being touted as possibly the best music App for the device.
