Nintendo has announced several new DSi XL colors that will be released in their home country on June 19th (it is known as the “DSi LL” in Japan).
As is usually the case, the colors PROBABLY won’t be released outside of Japan. Which is definitely a bummer. As color choices is always a good thing in my humble opinion. But you never know, maybe they’ll be announced the new colors for the West too at E3 2010 later this month.
The new colors are: Blue, Green and Yellow and they will be coming along with a price drop to ¥18,000.
Along with the price drop for the DSi XL are price drops for the other systems in Japan (likely due to the impending release of the 3DS).
This includes the normal DSi which is being dropped to ¥15,000 and the DS Lite, who’s price will be set by the individual retailers.
