Call of Duty: Devil’s Brigade cancelled on Xbox 360 and PS3

Call of Duty: Devil’s Bridge is the cancelled Xbox 360 and PS3 Call of Duty title that was in development by “Underground Development”, before the studio was shuttered by EA in February.

Previously Underground Development had worked on the band-focused Guitar Hero: Van Halen, a game that bombed, causing the closing of the developer (in part).

Call of Duty: Devil’s Brigade looks like it would’ve been a pretty standard (subpar?) affair as the screenshots look like just another World War II FPS. And that’s probably the reason it got cancelled.

The game was found by superannuation on the blog of Leonid Korostyshevskiy, a senior environment artist on the project.

Don’t forget to check out the rest of the cancelled Call of Duty: Devil’s Brigade screenshots.

Currently there are three upcoming Call of Duty games in development: Call of Duty: Black Ops from Treyarch, a rumored Modern Warfare 3 from Infinity Ward (or what’s left of them) and a Call of Duty action adventure game from Sledgehammer Games.
