Angry Video Game Nerd reviews Action 52 on NES

Action 52 NES review by AVGN
This is the 90th in a series of reviews of bad video games by the Angry Video Game Nerd. Watch as the Angry Nerd reviews the unlicensed NES videogame from 1991 called Action 52.

The included 52 games are notorious for having crappy controls and gameplay, being glitchy, and remakes of one-another or simply non-functional.

Backstory: Vince Perri from Miami created Action 52. He said the idea came from seeing an illegal Taiwanese 40 NES games in one cartridge that the whole neighbourhood seemed to love. He went on to raise $5 million from private backers in Europe and Saudi Arabia. Then he employed college students to program the originally 60 games (some cut to save cart size/costs), and contracted out technical work to Cronos Engineering Inc. who worked for IBM before.

What do you get when you pay $199 for an NES game?

Expect the June 2nd episode to be about Cheetahmen and the unreleased Cheetahmen II.
